Welcome to LCSO bias

Welcome to Lake County Florida Sheriff Bias. First a little information about LCSO. The Lake County Sheriff's Office is largest law enforcement agency in Lake County, Florida, United States. Per the State of Florida Constitution, the sheriff is the chief law enforcement officer of both the incorporated and unincorporated areas of the county. The current sheriff is Gary S. Borders who was appointed by former Governor Jeb Bush following the death of Sheriff Chris Daniels in 2006. He was elected in 2008. In November 2007, Sheriff Gary S. Borders led the agency to be awarded with a certificate of accreditation from the Commission for Florida Law Enforcement Accreditation, consequently, both the Law Enforcement and Corrections divisions of the Lake County Sheriff's Office are now accredited. There is more, but rather than paste all of that into here you have the option of reading it for yourself. I plan to share my experience with the LCSO on this blog and she the experiences of others on this page as well. If you have had a negative experience with this law enforcement agency, please share that here.
